OASE® blue for Flue Gas and Post Combustion CO2 Capture
OASE® blue was developed specifically as an optimized large-scale carbon capture technology. BASF supplies customers with a customized technology package along with highly stable, low-maintenance innovative solvent solutions for various carbon capture applications. With low energy consumption, low solvent losses and an exceptionally flexible operating range OASE® blue is the paramount technology for use in flue gas carbon capture from sources such as fossil power generation plants, steam reformers, waste incinerators or even the cement industry.
OASE® purple for Natural Gas
Utilized in the removal of acid gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S), the OASE® purple technology has proven its versatility and reliability in natural-gas applications. Our solutions portfolio ranges from selective removal of sulfur components for sales gas to bulk removal of acid gases for LNG applications.
OASE® white for Syngas, Ammonia and HYCO
The OASE® white technology has proven its versatility and reliability in the removal of acid gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S), from synthesis gas (syngas). OASE® white's broad application scope, the continuous optimization based on hundreds of running references including BASF's own facilities, and the flexibility of this process makes it the leading choice for applications such as ammonia, syngas, and hydrogen/carbon monoxide (HYCO).
OASE® yellow for Selective Treatment
Developed to enable selective removal of sulfur components from natural gas as well as acid-gas enrichment (AGE) or tail-gas treatment (TGT) units, BASF's OASE® yellow technologies offer a range of solutions that meet our customer's specific project requirements.
